West Coast Tanks is an authorized Pioneer water tank dealer serving California and the West. Our own crews engineer, deliver, and install steel tanks for fire protection and potable water, so one team owns your project from quote to commissioning.

Built on Two Established California Companies

West Coast Tanks is not a startup. We became a Pioneer water tank dealer to bring proven steel water storage to the West, built on the histories of two companies with decades of roots in water and agriculture.

Green Rubber Kennedy Ag

More than 30 years serving the agricultural and industrial community of the Salinas Valley. It began in 1990 as a small, family run conveyor belting shop for farming and food processing. In 2003 it merged with Kennedy Bros., a spray and fertilizer business, and the two became Green Rubber Kennedy Ag. Today the company runs eight locations across California and Arizona, serving growers, processors, and industrial customers with products, service, and custom fabrication.

Dougherty Pump & Drilling, Inc.

Serving the Central Coast of California since 1942, supplying water and wastewater utilities, homeowners, water systems, agriculture, and critical infrastructure. A key part of the local water supply chain, with decades of expertise in water services and storage tank construction and installation. Affiliated with the Pacific Water Quality Association, the California Groundwater Association, and the National Groundwater Association, and a trusted resource for well owners across the state.

What Being a Pioneer Water Tank Dealer Means Here

Plenty of companies will sell you a tank. Fewer will engineer it, haul it to your site, build it, and stand behind it. We do all four with our own people.

Engineered for your site

We size the tank to your fire flow, storage duration, or process demand and produce what the AHJ or plan checker needs to sign off. NFPA 22 and NFPA 1142 where they apply.

Delivered and built on site

Every tank ships flat and gets constructed on your pad. That keeps freight cost down and lets us work around the space, grade, and access you actually have.
